The Hull City manager Steve Bruce has said that the Championship is one of the difficult leagues to win in all of Europe because it is extremely full of surprises. Steve Bruce is looking to get promotion back into the Premier league with Hull City. It has been a few seasons since Hull City were last in the Premier league.

Steve Bruce does not have a lot of recent experience of managing in the Championship because he has been largely involved with Premier league clubs like Wigan and Sunderland in the last few seasons. However, he has previously secured promotion from the Championship into the Premier league with the likes of Birmingham city.

He has said that he intends still use that experience in order to help Hull City back into the top flight. Hull City have been adopting an attacking style of football in the first few weeks of the campaign. This is paid rich dividends for the clubs so far after they find themselves in the eighth position with 13 points on the board. They are only three points behind the leaders Brighton and Hove Albion. Steve Bruce reckons that he will be able to achieve promotion with Hull City if they carry on playing in the same manner.

“When you consider how just three points separate the top 10 teams in the table after eight games, that shows how close things are right now. It is often said that most teams can beat each other in this division and that has certainly been the case this season. It can be crazy at times. I suppose we only have to look at the last week or so to see just how things can change," said the Hull city manager after the 3-1 loss at the hands of Peterborough United during the weekend.
